Family Therapy – London

Family Counselling

I offer a safe and confidential space for families to explore and move beyond the areas of concern affecting their relationships and well-being.

From child and adolescent behavioural issues and ongoing family conflicts to moving through trauma and dealing with separation and divorce, I support families of all ages to improve their communication, empathy, understanding and trust – helping to make family life happier and more harmonious for everyone.

Sessions may include a range of verbal, creative and somatic therapeutic methods, including use of the body and movement, drawing and play, therapeutic stories and dram

Who is family therapy suitable for?

  • Families going through significant transitions such as separation or divorce, being made redundant, becoming a family with children.
  • Families who have experienced the loss of a parent, child or other close family member.
  • Families living with a family member with a diagnosed mental health or challenging physical health condition.
  • Families experiencing parenting issues or problems with child/ adolescent behaviour.
  • Families where the children have learning/ school difficulties.
  • Families where one person has a serious problem that’s affecting the rest of the family.
  • Families experiencing conflict or struggling to communicate/ relate to one another.
  • Families who have experienced trauma.

Where do sessions take place?

Family therapy sessions take place at my West Norwood practice. Sessions can also take place online via Zoom.

How much does it cost?

A 90-minute family therapy session is £225 – which is the recommended length for a first session since it will allow us time to get to know each other and gain insight into the family’s concerns.

Subsequent sessions may continue at 90 minutes or we may agree to 75 or 60 minutes. Longer sessions allow for more in-depth understanding of concerns as well as time to explore potential changes that may improve the situation.

How do I book?
